Jason Lee (he/him)
Registered Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates
Jason holds a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBC. His practice has been heavily influenced by exposure to post graduate training with leading clinicians within physiotherapy and other disciplines beyond traditional physiotherapy. This broad exposure has provided Jason with a different perspective to assessment and treatment taking into consideration each individuals needs. His assessments take a comprehensive, whole-body approach viewing the body as an interconnected system rather than isolating individual symptoms or areas of pain. This integrated method helps uncover underlying movement or coordination issues and fosters awareness and movement retraining to overcome dysfunction.
Jason’s clinical interest is in working with people recovering from sports injuries, subacute conditions, or post-operative recovery. Jason also has a clinical focus on golf performance and rehab, and takes pride in helping clients return to their sport or daily activities with more ease and clarity.
His post-graduate training includes:
- Certificate of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (Curtin University)
- Medical Acupuncture (CAFCI)
- Gunn IMS (CGIMS)
- Integrated Systems Model (Diane Lee and LJ Lee)
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
- Level 2 Medical Professional with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) • Clinical Pilates (Calibrate)
- Running Specialist (The Running Clinic)
- CranialSacral Therapy (Upledger)
- Neuromeningeal Manipulation (Barral Institute)
Jason works best with clients who are open-minded and eager to explore alternative treatment methods. He frequently treats those who haven’t had the desired results from traditional physiotherapy and are ready for an individualized approach. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, aiming to return to sport, or looking to understand how your body’s overall mechanics might be contributing to your symptoms, Jason is here to help guide you through the process.
