Jason is a physiotherapist with a diverse educational background and extensive post-graduate training. He holds a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. Upon returning to Vancouver, he has worked in various private practice clinics treating orthopaedic and musculoskeletal disorders. By continually expanding his knowledge and skills through advanced education, he ensures that his clinical practice remains focused on aligning treatments that best serve his patient’s goals.
Jason holds a Certificate of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from Manual Concepts at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. He is certified in medical acupuncture (CAFCI) and Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS). These approaches focus on a comprehensive approach emphasizing looking at the body as a whole system rather than focusing solely on individual symptoms or areas of pain.
Jason is a Certified Level 2 Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is renowned for its research and education on the biomechanics of the golf swing and how the human body’s physical capabilities and limitations influence golf performance. Additionally, he has completed his Clinical Pilates training through Calibrate Pilates, the Running Specialist course through The Running Clinic, CranialSacral Therapy courses through the Upledger Institute and the Neuromeningeal manipulation courses with the Barral Institute.
Outside of the clinic, Jason enjoys all things sports related and stays active the best he can when he isn’t spending time with his family.
