About Collaborative Physio Pilates Care Sessions
Our collaborative care sessions offer a comprehensive, personalized approach to your recovery by combining the expertise of Katie Evans (Physiotherapist) and Catherine Murray (Clinical Pilates Instructor). This unique model blends physiotherapy care and rehabilitation with the benefits of Reformer-based movement—making it an ideal option for people who:
- Need physiotherapy care but cannot currently book an appointment with Katie.
- Want to transition from one on one physiotherapy care to a more independent exercise routine.
- Are looking for a more cost-effective treatment option.

How collaborative physio pilates sessions work
This collaborative care model ensures that your rehab Pilates sessions are guided by both clinical insight and skilled movement instruction. Ongoing communication between Katie and Catherine keeps your care consistent and progress-oriented.
Step 1: Initial Assessment with Katie (55 min) to conduct a thorough assessment and create a treatment plan. This may include hands-on therapy, education, and communication with any other health professionals involved in your care. She’ll also collaborate with Catherine to align your rehab plan with your movement goals.
Step 2: Exercise + Education Sessions with Catherine (4 x 55 min) to will lead you through the exercise portion of your plan – offering guidance, insight, and adaptations as needed. These sessions focus on helping you understand your movements and how to apply them outside the clinic.
Step 3: Follow-Up with Katie (25 min) for a reassessment, where your progress is reviewed and any needed updates are made to your plan.
